Every year on the pass there are competitions of one of the stages of the rally on the mountain roads of Ukraine

Historical information about the object

The road through the pass was built at the expense of oil producers in the late nineteenth century for transportation of extracted oil from Skhidnytsia to Boryslav. Today it provides transport connection between the resort of Skhidnytsia and the villages on the Stryy river with Borislav and Drohobych
