Since 1962, the building houses a special school for children with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and cerebral palsy.

On March 29, 1912, the Chamber of Employers of the Oil Industry in Boryslav approved the temporary charter of the Geological Station (Stacja Geołogiczna). The first in Ukraine
scientific geological research institution in the ozokerite and oil and gas industries. In 1932 – 1952 on the basis of the Carpathian Geological Station there was a single
in Ukraine and Europe research institution – Carpathian Geological and Petroleum
Institute.
