Historical information about the object

The monument was erected in 1984 on the site where on November 6, 1923, during a workers’ demonstration in clashes with law enforcement officers, 3 workers of the city’s oil industry were killed (Vasyl Haliberda, Petro Kostiv, Frantsyshek Tsyvinsky) and about 60 people were injured. The author of the monument is Victor Salyak.
